Did you know there is a movement to put more craft beers into cans? Now is when you look back at the headline for this post and shake your head at me for choosing a cheesy subject. Sorry – I like bad jokes.

There is a stigma that because a beer is in a can, it means it is less good. This is not so! I like the idea. It makes it easier to travel with for parties and to take out to the pool, etc. As long as it’s a good beer, I’ll drink from a tap, a cask, a bottle or a can!

I have had the pleasure of trying some delicious craft brews in cans:

Oskar Blues – Dales Pale Ale
Oskar Blues – Old Chub
Oskar Blues – Mama’s Little Yella Pils
21st Amendment – Hell or High Watermelon
21st Amendment – Brew Free or Die IPA
21st Amendment – Black in Black IPA

But other those than those two breweries, most of my beers either come from a tap or from a 220z bottle these days. But one of my friends emailed me a great story about an up and coming brewery in Durham, NC, Triangle Brewing, who also plans to distribute their beers in cans: http://www.newsobserver.com/2010/08/27/649536/pop-top-on-craft-beer-can-do.html

Anyone tried other craft beers in cans? Or have you tried what I’ve listed above?
