Lino Rulli, The Catholic Guy, is writing my foreword for The Catholic Drinkie’s Guide to Homebrewed Evangelism! I was going to make this a surprise announcement as I got closer to release day, but Lino unintentionally made the big reveal via Twitter. Thanks, Lino. 😉 You can pre-order the book now on Amazon!
I should be asleep, but instead I’m writing the foreword to a book. I need a drink, @CatholicDrinkie. Any suggestions?

No, but seriously, I am so honored that Lino agreed to write my foreword. You’ll read more about in the book, but Lino has been a big influence on me and my dreams — and encouraged me to try this whole Catholic Drinkie thing. If you don’t know much about Lino, be sure to check out his books, Saint and Sinner. Also check out his podcast or live on Sirius XM’s Catholic Channel Monday-Friday 5-7pm ET. He’s definitely a powerhouse in Catholic media and has done so much to bring the American Church into the modern times with his humor and take on Catholicism.
I’m grateful for his friendship and for his leadership in Catholic new media. His willingness to add to my book and lend his name to mine means a lot to me — Lino, I’ll pay you in beer! I’ve had the pleasure of spending some time in real life with Lino on several occasions, including going on one of his infamous pilgrimages to Europe. We toured Rome, Greece and Turkey in May 2011 and I will forever treasure the memories from that trip. One of my best vacations ever for certain. Some highlights included: riding donkeys up a mountain on the Greek island of Rhodes and being loud, obnoxious Americans in Athens … and on our cruise ship.
Keep Lino and his ministry in your prayers. I look forward to sharing his foreword with you guys in my book!
